Raspberry Coconut Protein Mousse – I must admit I am a coconut fanatic, and this is one of my favourite smoothies. Ok, ok they are all my favourites! Coconuts digest easily and are used immediately for fuel and energy.
Coconut
Coconut is a good source of protein, B complex, beta carotene and minerals, especially iodine, which is important for thyroid function. Coconut oil has been also used for thousands of years as a skin moisturizer. It is great for wrinkled, dry and rough skin as it smooths and softens. Coconut oil promotes healing, prevents stretch marks, and keeps skin youthful and healthy.
Raspberries
Raspberries are a sexy fruit – sweet and-sour. Raspberries are very alkaline, and have a cleansing effect on the body. Raspberries are anti-inflammatory and have anti-viral and anti-cancer properties. They are a good source of vitamin C, magnesium and potassium.
Protein – Brown Rice Protein
Protein is abundant in our body, and the major constituent of every living cell. It is critical for optimal hormone health. Raspberry Coconut Protein Mousse
♥ 1 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
♥ 1 young coconut, coconut meat
♥ 1 banana, frozen overnight
♥ 1/2 to 1 cup coconut water
♥ 1 scoop brown rice protein, vanilla flavour
1. Mix all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
