Energy Elixir
Hiya Beauties!
Love this refreshing drink during the summer. Especially, look at the colour and the texture of this smoothie. It has a vibrant, jewel-like color.
Smoothies can provide you with good nutrition and energy while you detox, so that you don’t become too hungry or too tired. Also, nutrients in fresh smoothies are more highly bioavailable and they are easy to digest.
APPLES – crisp, sweet and juicy
So, let’s talk about apples. Who does not like beautiful, red, juicy organic apples? I have two of them, every single day. Apples contain pectin, a soluble fibre that can help remove toxins from the body. In addition, they contain malic and tartaric acid which promote good digestion and cleanse the liver. Also, apples are rich in anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer phytonutrients such as flavonoids and polyphenols. Furthermore, they are an excellent source of vitamin B, beta-carotene and vitamin C. Have at least an apple a day, preferably before noon on empty stomach.
RASPBERRIES – Raspberries are a sexy fruit – sweet and-sour
They are a good source of vitamin C, magnesium and potassium.

SPINACH
Spinach is rich in vitamin C, K, A, manganese, folic acid, zinc, selenium, magnesium, iron, phosphorous, potassium, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids. It contains health-promoting phytonutrients such as beta carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin. Spinach is also anti-inflammatory and has anticancer properties.
