Pick right colours, wear happy colours that will affect your wellbeing, your thinking, your taste, and your moods.  Surround yourself with colour that will feed your body and your spirit. Colour will nourish your entire body system and alter your physical, emotional, spiritual and mental condition.  Fabrics we wear act as colour filters allowing certain colour waves to pass through our skin.  For instance when we wear red, natural light passes through the fabric and picks up a red vibration. The vibration goes through our skin and into our body system.  When we wear certain colours we can feel either energized or de-energized.

Colour is created by light and light is electromagnetic energy that is produced by the sun in different wavelengths. Everything we see is by reflected light. In the electromagnetic spectrum our human eye is only able to see the visible light spectrum.

RED

When you want to be noticed, wear red. You will appear dynamic, extroverted and passionate. In image red means warm, romantic and sensual. Red has the slowest vibratory rate and longest wavelength. Red is a stimulating colour. So, if you suffer from poor circulation, low blood pressure, and feeling tired all the time wear something red. But too much red can stimulate the adrenal glands and cause the blood pressure to rise.

ORANGE

Want to look bright, optimistic, and fun? Wear orange, you will appear happy, friendly and vibrant. In healing, orange is the colour of reproduction, sexuality, sensation, pleasure, emotion and movement. It has a beneficial effect on our digestive and immune systems. It can assist in healing the pancreas, spleen, intestines and adrenals. On the other hand, too much orange affects the nerves and should be balanced with shades of green-blues.

YELLOW

Appear warm, inspired and intellectual. Well, wear yellow. Are you depressed and down? Do you have problems with digestion? Surround yourself or eat something yellow. 

GREEN 

You want to appear practical, precise and balanced here is Green. You will appear as comfortable, calm and inviting human being. In healing green is for the heart. It has a calming effect. Similar to yellow, it strengthens the nervous system, but is also beneficial for heart conditions, high blood pressure, and headaches. Green stimulates growth; therefore, it should not be used with anything of a malignant nature.

BLUE

Who wears blue colour appears to have traditional, sensitive and calm personality. When we talk about image it can be cool, aloof and formal. In terms of healing blue is cooling to the system; it is relaxing and has an antiseptic effect.  Blue is anti-inflammatory and lowers blood pressure. It is strengthening and balancing to the respiratory system of the body, and is one of the most healing colours for children. Blue also stimulates the pituitary gland, which regulates our sleep patterns.

INDIGO

Indigo helps to purify the blood and detoxify the body. It is good for meditation, but too much indigo can lead to depression. It helps you with intuition and focus.

VIOLET

Do you want to have artistic, mysterious and charming personality? Wear Violet. You will appear sensitive and spiritual. In healing, violet is very cleansing and purifying. It helps balance the physical and spiritual energies.

Wear good happy colours. Surround yourself with colours that make you feel cheerful and healthy. Listen to yourself every morning while standing in front of your closet.  Ask yourself, “Do I feel tired and depressed this morning?  Do I feel confused and frustrated?” Then, choose clothing in the colours that will suit your moods and heal your emotions.
