Parsley Benefits – sweet, sharp and peppery
Parsley – Parsley Paté is highly nutritious rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C, iron and folic acid. It also contains chlorophyll which builds the blood. In addition, it is a good remedy for edema, arthritis and halitosis. Especially, I use parsley in my smoothies, juices, salads and pates.
Almonds – sweet and low in acid
Almonds contain protein, vitamin E, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and zinc. In addition, they are anti-inflammatory and strengthen the nervous system.
Rosemary – flavourful and aromatic
Rosemary is my favourite herb. Therefore, I use it in almost every dish I prepare. Especially, is great in raw crackers I make at home. Rosemary is an evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean. It is also a natural antioxidant; In addition, rosemary, can increase circulation, improves digestion, freshen the breath. In addition, rosemary contains anti-inflammatory compounds, relieves headaches and improves concentration and mental alertness.
Garlic – adds punch and flavour
Garlic is a powerful antioxidant, also natural antibiotic with anti-fungal and antibacterial effects. In addition, it can decrease cholesterol, lower blood pressure, and can treat infectious disease. Parsley Paté
♥ 1 cup almonds
♥ 2 cups fresh parsley
♥ 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
♥ 1 tbsp ground rosemary
♥ ½ lemon, freshly squeezed
♥ 4 cloves of garlic
♥ ¼ cup olive oil
♥ Celtic sea salt to taste
♥ Water to a smooth consistency
1. Soak almonds overnight.
2. First process almonds then add some water and blend.
3. Toss in herbs, salt, lemon, garlic, olive oil, water and blend a little bit more.
4. Add parsley and blend until smooth
