Hiya Gorgeous!

I have incorporated some face yoga poses – facial exercises in my daily routine. Believe me, it works, and is so easy.  We have seen a difference within 6 months. I also suggest that you do ‘before and after’ photos, just to see the difference.

Daily best face yoga poses for your facial muscles including the eye area, are essential to tone and firm your facial structure.

It all works on the principle of resistance to tone, firm and strengthen the muscles. Just like lifting weights can change the shape of your body and your skin tone, so can your facial muscles when using the pressure of your fingers. Your facial muscles will tone up, and you will appear more youthful. In addition, the facial exercises will increase blood flow to the skin which will nourish the skin, bringing in more oxygen, and encourage the production of collagen and elastin.

According to Danielle Collins the face yoga expert, daily facial massage, acupressure and relaxation are as important as facial exercises.

Facial massage can increase blood circulation, improve circulation of lymph. relax facial muscles and remove toxins. Furthermore, dark circles and puffiness will diminish and your skin will become firmer and smooth.

Acupressure is an ancient healing art that is over 3,000 years old. It works by pressing with finger tips on certain acupuncture points on the face. These can help release muscle tension and better flow of energy. The increased blood circulation will give your face a natural healthy glow.

Facial relaxation – by relaxing your facial muscles you can reduce wrinkles and lines caused by stress, frowning and smiling.

Practice relaxation and meditation before sleep; you will feel, calm re-energized and cope with stress better. Your sleep habits show on your skin.
