Hiya Sweet Friends,

Today I want to talk about candida. And, I am sure that you already know about it. We are writing a lot in magazines and other publications.  

Candida Albicans is a yeast fungus, which resides in the human body. It resides in the intestinal tract and under normal condition it sparsely populates our intestines. But if the healthy environment is altered, it can can flourish and contribute to a wide variety of health problems.

Candida is not a disease, but a state of imbalance. It is connected to the immune system – they are linked together. We live a stressful lifestyle where malnutrition is prevalent, therefore immune weakness is common  A weakened immune system is susceptible to candida overgrowth. Poor diet, excessive intake of sugar, starchy food, yeasted breads and repeated use of antibiotics, contribute to its overgrowth. Also, hormone medications and birth control pills 
This fungus can travel all over the body to all organs and tissues causing medical conditions such as cancer, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, diabetes etc.

Diet plays a large role in the development of candida, and an anti-candida diet is essential for this condition.

Candida Cleanse

Try to eat mostly greens, leafy greens, grasses, algae, seeds and vegetables while on candida protocol. Also, low-glycemic fruits like berries. And, non-sweet apples such as Granny Smith.

Furthermore, completely avoiding high sugar, high mold and fungi foods is a must as they can diminish our health. After three months, or when your well-being improves you can start incorporating some other fruits and vegetables. But for better health protection try to avoid all processed foods, all animal products (eggs, flesh, dairy), yeast, mushrooms, peanuts, heated oils, sugar, coffee and bottled juices.

According to Gabriel Cousens, M.D., it takes 3 to 6 moths for most chronic diseases to become reversed. Eating this way, you will be on the right track to feel vibrantly alive and healthy. Depression lifts, and you awaken to higher consciousness.

This does not mean that you will never eat your favourite foods again. During the program you may have to incorporate substitutions in some of your meals. Foods in my menu plan concentrate on releasing dead and diseased yeast cells from the body. All foods that promote yeast overgrowth need to be eliminated!
